The Harrison to the World project takes the legendary Harrison sound, which helped shape a golden era of music, and introduces it to artists and recording engineers from around the world.
For part two in the series, record producer, mix engineer, and director for the Music Producers Guild, Catherine Marks, joins us at Harrison’s international studio facility in the UK. Discussing her experience with the new 32Classic MS Mix Strip, Catherine has worked with notable artists such as Boygenius, Divorce, Wolf Alice, The Killers, St. Vincent, Manchester Orchestra, Alanis Morissette, and many more.
The 32Classic MS Mix Strip has quickly found a home in Catherine’s studio in London and has been integrated into her setup for tracking, mixing, and as a subtle mix bus EQ. “I have two 1073s and some Avalon mic pres that are always my go-to. Of course, I was curious: will the 32Classic Mix Strip beat what I know? And it really did!”
