The RM2 is a 2 slot frame and internal power supply designed to support any two of the TUBE-TECH miniature “RM Series” modules such as the CM1A tube compressor, EM1A tube EQ and PM1A tube Mic Pre. The new 2 slot RM2 joins the RM8 8 slot rack for the line of Tube Tech “RM” Series miniature all tube based modules.
The TUBE-TECH CM 1A Compressor is an optical, all-tube compressor. It features exactly the same tube circuit as our famous CL 1B Opto Compressor, but the action is different due to a different, carefully selected optical element and a fine-tuning of the control circuit.
The TUBE-TECH EM 1A Passive Tube EQ is an exact replica of our oldest “classic”, the PE 1C all-tube, passive Program Equalizer, which itself is based on the classic PULTEC EQP 1A.
The PM 1A is a combined mic preamp/DI, based on a classic TUBE-TECH design, but featuring even higher fidelity and a few new features: An impedance switch to match the input perfectly to all types of microphones, an overload indicator and 2 dB gain steps.
The MEC 1A is an all-tube mono recording channel, combining the classic TUBE-TECH designs: MP1A mic preamp, EQ 1A active EQ and CL2A compressor in one powerful, 2U recording package.
The TUBE-TECH ME 1B is a passive, all-tube midrange EQ based on the legendary Pultech MEQ5, featuring two boost- and one dip section. The bandwidth of the ME1B sections is designed broader than in the MEQ5for ultra-smooth and musical equalization, perfect for vocals, instruments, speech and all other midrange sources.
The PE 1C is a passive, all-tube EQ, based on the classic PULTEC EQP 1A design and featuring a passive EQ section and a high quality op amp. With the original Pultec out of production for decades and used examples demanding sky-high prices, the PE 1C is by far the easiest way to achieve this unique and coveted sound.
